Dr. Harinder Babbar
Veterinarian
I am extremely proud to say that I am the owner of McQueen Animal Hospital, which I opened in December of 2012. I graduated from College of Veterinary Sciences, Punjab, India in 1995. I practiced small animal medicine in a practice that I owned for 10 years. In 2010, I obtained my license to practice in Canada. Since then, I have dedicated my life to the profession, volunteering my time in various veterinary hospitals throughout Canada and the United States, including referral and specialty centres. While I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, I have a particular interest in internal medicine – the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.
I started McQueen Animal Hospital under the premise of providing high quality veterinary care to the Brampton and surrounding community, where your pets’ special interests are always the first priority. I have invested in only the best medical equipment, as that is what your pet deserves. I understand the special bond that a pet has to their family, and feel honored to play an important role in their health and well-being. I am dedicated to the service of animals and mankind, and encourage you to visit the clinic to experience this first-hand.
Dr. Padma Mullick
Veterinarian
Dr. Padma Mullick completed her graduation and post graduation from Bombay Veterinary College, India. She loves working with both dogs & cats, misses working with cows & buffaloes. She grew up with animals and have played an important role in her life. Currently she is a proud owner of three rescue cats. She loves her job and probably would never retire from this compassionate profession. She spends her free time with plants either indoor or outdoor and is developing new skills by learning to quilt.
Roshini
Technician
Hello, I graduated with a Bachelors in veterinary science and animal husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) from India back in 2016. Moving to Canada was just the push I needed to channelize myself to work harder to achieve my primary goal of providing service to our furry friends with a better educational and infrastructural background in place. I have been in this field with hands on experience with large and small animals since 2015 and hold a diploma in wildlife disease and management.
I would call myself a cuddler of dogs and a squisher of cats, always keen to learn and share in practice.
For as long as I remember I always wanted to work with and for animals only then I was too young and wasn’t aware there were doctors for animals too so I thought of becoming a trainer, zoo keeper, animal handler etc till I came to realize that we too could be healers to our furry friends in difficult times. I knew right then this was my destiny and I will continue to work towards achieving it, to clear the licensing exams and practice as a veterinarian in Canada.
The one thing that keeps my spirits high being away from my family and fur babies is working for these lovely souls.
Kate
Registered Veterinary Technician
Hi there! My name’s Kate and I am a registered veterinary technician here at McQueen Animal Hospital.
For most of my life I have wanted to work with animals. When I was 17 my own dog ended up in the hospital with a very serious illness and the RVT looking after him went above and beyond to make him feel loved when my family and I couldn’t be there with him. After that I decided I wanted to be a registered veterinary technician.
In 2022 I graduated from Sheridan college, earning my diploma in veterinary technology. 6 months later I took my licensing exam and became a Register Veterinary Technician! I have worked with pocket pets, dogs, cats and horses.
Krystal
Veterinary Assistant
Hello! My name is Krystal, I am a Veterinary Assistant here at McQueen Animal Hospital.
I love animals and they will always be a part of my life. Ever since I was little, I wanted to take care of animals. At a young age, my family acknowledged that I wanted to work with animals. They are proud to see me fulfill my dreams and progress towards my goals in life. I own a few pets, Buddy, a cocktail who I’ve had since I was born. I also own a farm that is home to many pets including: a cat, a dog, chickens, ducks, goats, and a few guinea birds.
I love the wildlife! I have a very soft spot for all the animals in the world. I will try my best to help any animal in need and never give up on them.
McQueen Hospital is such a loving and welcoming place, I have learned so much and I can proudly say that I’m glad to be a part of this team!
Anniel
Veterinary Assistant
Hello! My name is Anniel. I am a veterinary assistant at McQueen Animal hospital. Growing up on a small island in the Caribbean, I was always around a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, goats etc. As a young girl, I found myself fostering strays. My family and I both knew I was destined to be in the animal field. I completed my Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Guelph in 2022. McQueen Animal Hospital has allowed me to gain hands on experience with dogs and cats.
Nicole
Veterinary Assistant/ Technician
When I was a little girl my first pets were turtles and from there my love for animals grew.
I decided to turn this love into a career and got my diploma in animals care, nursing and animal sciences.
My passion for animals is what drives me. I feel like it is my duty to advocate for our pets who cannot speak for themselves and make sure they receive the best care possible.
